BUTS Training Center offers a wide range of courses for the young and adults. The professional courses range from service provision as catering, electronic and mechanical to project management, marketing and IT.  Within these groups some of the courses are available for fee and some are fully or partially compensated by European Union funds.  Finally, BUTS offers a certification service for workers who have had worked in the field for a while however couldn’t acquire a certification. The State Education Development Agency (VIAA) is a direct administration institution which is subordinated to the Ministry of Education and Science. Interreg Volunteer Youth (IVY) is an initiative of the European Commission, allowing young people to contribute to meaningful Interreg projects as Interreg Reporters (helping highlight the results of Interreg programmes) or  Interreg Project Partners (contributing to the implementation of projects). The “Interreg Volunteer Youth” initiative is financed by the European Union and the Association of European Border Regions (AEBR). Each volunteering experience lasts for 2 to 6 months, and the volunteers receive a financial contribution that covers their cost of living.
